The grand-children of members are showing up at the house church. Thank God for this new change and growth. We were encouraging the members to bring their children along to the Sunday meeting. We teach the children action songs and use the bible for kids app to teach them a truth from the bible.

Preaching in Uttar Pradesh

One young man who heard the gospel through us made a decision to believe Christ, and started following...Then came the issue of his marriage. Since He is from Uttar Pradesh, he went to his village to have a look at the proposal made to him. Along with that, He also started sharing Christ and praying for those who were sick and oppressed by demons. God stood with him and manifested His power. A number of people repented and accepted Jesus, because they got healed or delivered from oppression. He keeps in touch with them via phone.

There were those who threatened him as well, but undaunted by the threats, he prayed and continued preaching and praying. God caused him to triumph with boldness and change of heart in the persecutors.

Visit to Secunderabad

Pastor was invited to Secunderabad by a pastor friend. By the help of the Lord the local pastor has collected some people for Jesus. People in Secunderabad speak mainly Telugu, so it was difficult to communicate with people there. Since Pastor does not know Telugu, He had to speak in Hindi. This was translated by the local Pastor into Telugu.

One of the members, had me stay in his house. He was so hospitable. God bless him abundantly.

Pastor had opportunity from the first day to preach and teach the word to small groups of people. The local pastor also had me visit his parents home 65 K.m. away from where we were staying. It was inside one of the villages in Medak District. We had to sleep outside where there were so many mosquitoes. God brought us through the night.

Messages taught was  on the new covenant, faith, and the church.

One day as Jeffrey visited the flour mill in the neighborhood, out of his mouth came the statement "have you found the truth" to which came the reply that he has been wanting to know. Then Jeffrey took up the opportunity to give him the gospel and now continues to regularly meet him to teach him more

The kingdom is near

One young man from Uttar Pradesh who had a habit of drinking alcohol, had an accident with a motor cycle. He was in pain and sitting on his bed. On preaching the word to him, he responded that he wanted to change how he was living. So he was led in a prayer of repentance and faith in the Lord. After which hands were laid on him for healing and deliverance. He started shaking under the power of God for a few seconds. God removed the pain supernaturally. He stood up to show that the pain was gone. The following Sunday he began attending the worship meetings. :)

Exhortation

A relative of my wife who is a member of a church in Worli and retired was sharing that he feels bored and does not know what to do with his time. To which I had the opportunity to exhort to redeem the time seeing the days are evil - to get involved sharing Jesus and the truth with friends and colleagues. He has the intention but did not make a firm decision and put action to it. He also said, "One has to have good character to be a preacher." Then I had to teach him about the two ways of flesh and spirit. I felt the anointing of the Holy Spirit which means God wanted him to get it. This word is going to work in his heart and change him only if he mixes what he heard with faith and puts action to it, to the glory of God.

Healing from cancer

A married young woman who was diagnosed with cancer, on seeing the banner of the church came crying about her condition. She was a believer who got married to an unbeliever, due to which attendance to the word and fellowhip got left behind. But after she got sick, her faith burning low, was stoked again. By her faith in the Lord, she got restored to health and is now attending to worship and the word. Sometimes people wait for circumstances to turn to God. He is patiently waiting for you too.
